Cine Core Theater
Once daily from Oct. 8
"My Brother", directed by An Gwon-tae, portrays the conflict and reconciliation of two very different brothers. Jong-hyon, a tough trouble-making but nevertheless comic and handsome character (Won Bin), often comes into conflict with his older brother Seong-hyon, who is always at the top of his class (Sin Ha-gyun). Their conflict deepens as their mother favors the elder brother. From their early years in school, the two get into a first fight over a pretty girl named Mi-ryong (Lee Bo-young). Later, the film shows how the brothers' relationship develops and changes after they graduate from high school and Song-hyon leaves for medical school. "My Brother" is highlighted by an impressive performance by Won, who skillfully uses a Pusan dialect. Located near Chonggak Station subway line 1. Details: (02) 734-9539 or www.seoulselection.com.
