Local Horror Film to Be Made Into Japanese Novel

A local horror film about people with a sixth sense that allows them to see ghosts will be made into a novel in Japan. The 2003 film "The Uninvited", which starred Jun Ji-hyun as a woman with an unwanted ability to see the supernatural world, is set to be written by Kei Ooishi, who also wrote the book versions of the Japanese horror film series "Juon".

"The Uninvited" will be released in Japanese theaters in May, Yonhap News Agency reported. Its director Lee Soo-yeon currently is in Japan to promote the film.
