Movie 'Yeochinso - Windstruck': the highest box-office record during the first week amid successive Korean movies released in Japan.

Movie 'Yeochinso - Windstruck' starring Jun Ji-hyun, Jang Hyuk, and Kim Su-Ro etc. has recorded the highest box-office record during the first week amid successive Korean movies released in Japan.

This movie has gained earnings of 140 million yen (approximately 2.4 billion won), mobilizing the house of 166,000 people during the first release day on Dec. 11. This is the highest record among the first weekend scores of Korean movies released in Japan recently.

'Yeochinso - Windstruck' has jumped over a record 'ToeGuk Ki: Brotherhood of war's box-office (190 million yen, 130,000 people), the premier position of existing Korean movie box-office during the first weekend released in Japan, and the second rank 'JSA - Joint Security Area"(160 million yen, 106,000 people) lightly.

'Yeochinso - Windstruck' that secured the most screens amid successive Korean movies with 302 screens across entire Japan, is continuing selling-out in the greater part of movie theaters including multiplex movie theaters. In particular, thanks to Hanryu gale that hit Japan hard, pairs show up in large numbers.

An official of Warner Japan, the movie's distribution firm, said: As high-school girls and university students, the movie's main audience, multiply along with the winter vocation, 'Yeochinso' would jump over 'seri's 1.8 billion yen also easily, the highest box-office record amid successive Korean movies.

The Romantic Comedy that pairs a spunky policewoman with a sweet teacher stars Jun Ji-hyun, the actress from the hit comedy "Yopgijogin Kunyo (My Sassy Girl)".

'Yeochinso' continues selling-out

When police officer Kyungjin met with Myungwoo accidentally in a crime, she found that this responsible teacher was a really nice guy. At that night, Kyungjin got into a fight with a bunch of high school kids and got trouble in a big gun fight between rival drug dealers.

Myungwoo tried to help her but then something happened that forces them stayed together all day long. They got closer to each other and Myungwoo was not able to repulse the strange but pure nature.

He fell in love with her. One day, when Kyungjin was chasing a notorious criminal, Myungwoo helped her again, however, not knowing that what would happen that day changed their relationship forever...
