Movies Worth Checking Out in Theaters This Week

From romantic dramas to feature thrillers or simply time-killing blockbusters, a variety of films will be showing at local theaters during the upcoming New Year's holiday. Here is a brief run down on what's playing to help you choose your holiday entertainment.

Local Movies

"Another Public Enemy (Konggongui Chok 2)" revolves around prosecutor Kang Chol-jong who devotes himself to rooting out social evils. 15 and over.

"Marathon" is a moving story about an autistic 20-year-old who has an exceptional talent for Marathon running. All ages.

"My boyfriend is type-B (B-hyong Namjachingu)" is a Romantic Comedy about a girl who has a crush on a handsome boy, who is unfortunately a typical blood type-B, notorious for selfishness. 12 and over.

The highly anticipated and controversial "The President's Last Bang (Kuddae Ku Saramdul)" recounts the day when President Park Chung-hee was assassinated by his chief secretary. 15 and over.
