Myeongdong Festival Opens Friday

The 42nd Myeongdong Festival kicked off Friday in downtown Seoul.

The festival, to be held through September eleventh, will feature various events including concerts and dance competitions.

In addition, a free movie event will be held in Myeongdong to celebrate the second Chungmuro International Film Festival slated for September third through the eleventh.

Directors, actors and actresses are scheduled to appear at the event.
