Movie lovers in Korea have three film festivals to choose from in different parts of the country.

The Seoul International Youth Film Festival is celebrating its eighth year.
The five-day event invites young people from around the world to produce their own short films.
This year has 76 shorts by young filmmakers from 22 countries.
Korean actors Ahn Sung-ki, Kim Kang-woo, and Son Tae-young, attended the opening ceremony to wish for a successful festival.
The event debuted in 1999 under the slogan "Gather Up, Cinekids!", and organizers say they hope to boost the imagination and creativity of young people to help improve the domestic film industry.
The second Jecheon International Music and Film Festival will open next week for a six-day run in the nation's central area.
A series of programs will combine both film and music, including one specifically for music and another on the latest trends of contemporary cinema.
Several outdoor music performances are also scheduled.
Visitors can watch 45 films from more than 20 countries, and listen to exhilarating music.
The venue is the scenic city of Jecheon, which is famous for its beautiful Lake Cheongpoong, a favorite among tourists.
The next film festival is much smaller in scale, but has a higher purpose of promoting peace.
The Daegu Peace Film Festival will screen 15 films, including documentaries and animation movies in the nation's third-largest city.
The event's highlight is the closing film "Welcome to Dongmakgol", a Korean blockbuster released last year.
The film, a set during the early Korean War, drew more than eight million moviegoers in Korea and ranks fifth on the country's all-time box office rankings.
