The original cast of famed stage musical "Rocky Horror Show" will perform in Korea starting next month, according to the show's producer Show Dream Company.

Show Dream announced in a press release that they will be presenting the original production of "Rocky", in collaboration with the British crew including the show's creator Richard O'Brien, director Christopher Luscombe and Australian production company TML Enterprises.

A licensed version of "Rocky" had run in Korea from 2001 through 2008, featuring many local talents including actors Lee Sun-kyun, Kang Ji-hwan, Oh Man-seok, Ye Ji-won and comedian Hong Rok-gi.

Since the upcoming production will be performed in English by foreign cast members, a well-known Korean actor will be taking part in the show as the narrator.

"The Rocky Horror Show", which first opened in London in June 1973, has been running in theaters around the world, including Broadway, for the past 38 years.

It was even adapted for the big screen in 1975, which became the cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" starring Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon.

Musical "Rocky" will run from August 27 to October 10 at Seoul's CoexArtium.
