[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "God's Quiz: Reboot" Releases Trailer, Introduces Kim Jun-han

Diving right into the nitty-gritty of it all, the new trailer for "God's Quiz: Reboot" shows us new cases and new faces. While beloved characters return, the video teases Kim Jun-han as the leader of a team utilizing a new type of Artificial Intelligence, which will be the big 'It' difference between this season and the previous ones.

The teaser opens with Han Jin-woo (Ryu Deok-hwan) having a relaxing hermit time, right before he announces "Hold on, I'm coming!" to the world. The text then reads 'If this weren't something new, I wouldn't have come back'. Returning due to sheer curiosity sounds like something he'd do, alright. Especially with some arm-twisting by Kang Kyeong-hee (Yoon Joo-hee), because the OTP is still strong. The text also reveals the drama's focus as 'Rare diseases and cases with secrets', before dropping the tagline 'Dissecting the truth'.

Jo Yeong-sil (Park Jun-myun) is seen announcing a new bizarre case, while the CODAS team leader, Kwak Hyeok-min (Kim Jun-han) looms behind her. CODAS stands for 'Cause of Death Analysis System', and its team has formed a collaboration with Yeong-sil's. I'm curious if this is an arrangement she had a say in. One person who definitely didn't ask for it is Jin-woo. This is where the drama's tagline of 'Big brain over big data' comes in, because you can bet his ego will hate being replaced by a machine.

As excited as I am for this season, I can't say that an A.I. rival sounds very fun. Unless it's controlled by a villain, or is sentient and evil, it sounds like an element which would likely end up as a cheesy gimmick. That being said, I'll be cautiously optimistic for "God's Quiz: Reboot", which is premiering on November 14th on OCN.
