[Orion's Daily Ramblings] "Partners for Justice" Releases First Stills, Casts Song Young-kyu

The leading duo of "Partners for Justice" are looking comfy in their roles already, and the series has also brought on a new frienemy or possibly even antagonist. We have the first look at Jung Jae-young and Jung Yoo-mi in character, along with the confirmed aforementioned addition of actor Song Young-kyu to the drama.

Baek Beom (Jung Jae-young) has been a forensic scientist with the NFS (National Forensic Service) for 10 years. He is a genius and a geek obsessed with the truth hidden behind the evidence. Eun Sol (Jung Yoo-mi) is an elite prosecutor with the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutor's Office. She has an excellent photographic memory and great perception.

Newly added Song Young-kyu plays Ma Do-nam, the director of investigations at the NFS, and someone who is very attached to his reputation and honor. He comes across as an opportunistic person who likes being in the spotlight through the power of the press, and he will have a rivalry with Baek Beom. I really like Song Young-kyu's work, so he's a pleasant addition to this.

The stills are a nice first introduction, but I hope to see more of their individual characters within the workplace or in action soon. "Partners for Justice" is an investigative drama about the collaboration of the leads and others, as they try to find the hidden truth behind deaths. It will air in May on MBC.
