OCN's "Kill It" has its leads, so open your peepers and take in the beauty that is Jang Ki-yong and Nana as its killer and detective duo. "Kill It" is a chase melodrama about a man who has to kill in order to find his family, and a woman who has to catch him in order to unravel the mystery behind her lover's death.
The character information for Jang Ki-yong's Kim Soo-hyeon is largely the same as previously reported. He is a skilled hitman who can turn anything into a weapon, and yield it with ease. His obscure identity makes him a prime choice for any country's gangs and organizations. However, although he has trouble navigating relationships, and pretends to not care about people, deep down he is someone who craves human connection.
Nana plays Do Hyeon-jin, an ace detective who graduated at the top of her class from the police academy. Hyeon-jin is an appealing, talented woman who does not tolerate injustice, but is generous enough to turn a blind eye to a white lie. She has faith in her excellent intuition, but she also understands that scientific input is necessary. She may look cold on the outside, but she can connect with other people's pain.
I don't see a mention of the Devil character, who was previously reported as having abandoned our killer and raised our detective, so I wonder if that is a scrapped early concept, or a twist the production later decided to keep under wraps. Whichever the case, "Kill It" is looking good, and it will be with us this spring.
