[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Joo Sang-wook Leads Drama "Grand Prince"

2017/12/13 | 1418 views | Permalink

More great news for the father-to-be (congratulations!) come in the form of a much awaited confirmation. It seems that Joo Sang-wook will be gracing our screens as the titular prince for the TV Chosun drama "Grand Prince".

The character is not a happy or nice one at all, however. Despite being the Grand Prince, the man is overshadowed by his Crown Prince (set to inherit the throne) brother and his bright younger brother. His thirst for power and what I can tell will be a raging inferiority complex will only make him worst when he falls in love with the same woman as his brother. He will do anything for power and anything for the woman, including killing his brother in order to have her.

Well doesn't that sound nice. I mean, in the "exciting story material" type of way, because none of the people involved within the story sound like they'll be pleased with life by its often untimely end. Once neutral to Joo Sang-wook, I grew a soft spot for him after "Fantastic". As a general non-sageuk person, I'll be sitting this one out, but I will share goodies from it. Good luck to him and everyone involved with the production.
