[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Kang Ye-Won Fights for Justice in "Drama Stage - Fighter Choi Kang-Soon"

2017/12/08 | 294 views | Permalink

You know, there's not enough love or subtitling given to short or one-act dramas, but perhaps efforts like CJ E&M's O'PEN Drama Stage will make this concept more mainstream one day. Some drama specials or short series have great acting, original stories and interesting plots.

Kang Ye-won has been cast as the titular heroine in the company's latest project, "Drama Stage - Fighter Choi Kang-soon", which is a story about women who fight injustice. She is the strongest fighter of them all, but we still don't know a lot about what said fighting entails. Are we talking physical, legal, moral or other? Perhaps our fighters will cover all? Whichever the case, this is a much needed and hot topic to tackle in dramas, but not all efforts have been successful. I hope this one delivers.

The series is being written by Yoo Young-joo and produced by Seong Yong-il. It will air in January on tvN, so I hope we get a bit more in terms of casting news and maybe promotional material soon.
