[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Kim Won-hae, Lee Jae-kyoon and Lee Joo-young Join "The Ghost Detective"

"The Ghost Detective" gets some solid support in his paranormal endeavors, as actors Kim Won-hae, Lee Jae-kyoon and Lee Joo-young have signed on to play a trio assisting the protagonists in their ghostly escapades. The three join Choi Daniel, Park Eun-bin and Lee Ji-ah.

Kim Won-hae will play local private investigator Han Sang-seop, who has a very personable character and a soft demeanor. He is a man of great affection and humane charm, and his character is the one who drew Lee Da-il (Choi Daniel) into the world of private detectives. I love him already, and therefore worry over him dying or being a villain.

Lee Jae-kyoon plays tough detective Park Jeong-dae. He is a Daddy Long-Legs type of presence to Jeong Yeo-wool (Park Eun-bin), and he offers her a helping hand when she becomes involved in a bizarre case. Let's hope he's less on the creepy side than his Daddy Long-Legs description.

Lee Joo-young takes on the role of Gil Chae-won, an assistant prosecutor with the National Forensic Service who is spiritually gifted. She will be helping the two heroes caught up in the aforementioned bizarre case by using her ability to communicate with ghosts. She sounds like the most useful one.

I look forward to experiencing all three of them when "The Ghost Detective" begins its run on KBS 2TV in late August. I like the premise, the supernatural element, the concept of an eerie mystery woman, its cast, and what I know or have seen of the creators, so I'm very excited about this one.
