[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Lee Si-young and Ji Hyun-woo Take On "Risky Romance"

On a normal day, nothing makes me run away faster than romance mixed into a medical drama, but with Lee Si-young in it, my fan honor demands a look-see. The actress has joined this upcoming drama as its lead, along with actor Ji Hyun-woo, whom I also like quite a lot, especially after an amazing performance in "Awl".

"Risky Romance" (working title) is about the relationship between a surgeon and an endocrinologist. I'm highly suspicious of the "medical" label on this romance drama, since we know full well that this usually means medical professionals romancing during inappropriate times and moments. I'm still rolling my eyes at the bloody slow motion scene from "Descendants of the Sun". We'll see how lucky we get, I suppose.

"Risky Romance" will be directed by Lee Chang-han ("Crazy Love", "I Need Romance") and written by Kim Nam-hee ("Cheese in the Trap", "Style") and Heo Seung-min ("A Blue Bird", "90 Minutes"). I'm barely familiar with this team, so for now I'll focus on the cast and hope. The drama will follow "Partners for Justice" on MBC in July.
