Lim Ju-hwan will be joining "Drama Special - The Long Farewell", which now has a premise, as well as a leading lady in Jang Hee-jin. Lim Ju-hwan plays a novelist, and Jang Hee-jin will be playing his girlfriend and an editor at his publishing company.
"Drama Special - The Long Farewell" is a realistic depiction of the love and separation of long time lovers. Lim Ju-hwan will be Bae Sang-hee, the aforementioned hero and novelist who is suffering from a prolonged writer's block following the publication of his first novel, and who has subsequently lost confidence in his work and love life.
This sounds like an approachable, relatable story about personal demons and their role in sabotaging our actions and expectations, so it's a welcome reprieve from more dramatic, and often very unrealistic portrayals of life and romance. "Drama Special - The Long Farewell", created by writer Kim Joo-hee and PD Song Min-yeob, will air in October.
