[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Moon Chae-won's "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter" Confirms Release Date

2018/09/06 | 2020 views | Permalink

Pre-produced drama "Gyeryong Fairy Tale", which is now going by the English title "Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter", has revealed its premiere date. The upcoming fantasy piece starring Moon Chae-won, Yoon Hyun-min and Seo Ji-hoon will be with us very shortly, so get your dramappetite going.

"Mama Fairy and the Woodcutter" is a comic fantasy drama about a 699-year-old fairy from Gyeryong Mountain named Seon Ok-nam (Moon Chae-won), who lives as a barista, and her journey of solving the mysteries of her past while meeting with the two possible reincarnations of her husband in Jeong Yi-hyeon (Yoon Hyun-min) and Kim Geum (Seo Ji-hoon).

The series has gathered quite the cast, and being based on a popular webtoon means that it already has audience outside of Dramaland waiting for it. It will be premiering on tvN on November 5th, so let's hope that it's a good piece, and a good adaptation. I'll throw in hopes of a good woman-centric story for good wishful thinking measure.
