[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Park Min-young Offered Fangirl Role for TvN's "Her Private Life"

I don't think anyone has topped Ji Sung's Yona from "Kill Me, Heal Me" as a worthy fangirl icon, but Park Min-young might take a swing at it in upcoming tvN drama "Her Private Life", which is based on the web novel "Noona Fan Dot Com". The actress is currently considering her offer, and the drama is slated for release in the first half of 2019.

"Her Private Life" is a romantic comedy about a woman fangirling over idols, and the two men fanboying over her. Starting with Yoon Kye-sang of "g.o.d", protagonist Seong Deok-mi (Park Min-young) has been a fan of idols for 20 years. She has been hiding this lifestyle while working as a senior curator at an art museum, but when the director changes, her secret life is in threat of being exposed.

You'd think a hobby would not raise that many eyebrows, but perhaps the heroine will be on the unhealthy side of the fandom, or maybe just involved enough for pretentious fellow adults to find her immature. We've been there at one point or another when it comes to niche hobbies, haven't we? I think Park Min-young would fit this role well, so let's see if the confirmation gods come a-calling.
