[Orion's Daily Ramblings] The Supernatural Turns Personal in Teaser Video and Posters for "The Item"

"The Item" is really kicking it up a notch with its second teaser, as it goes all out with the items, and what we can expect from them. We also get to see the very personal motivation of protagonist Kang Gon (Ju Ji-hoon) to catch the culprit, Kim Kang-woo's terrible Jo Se-hwang.

The video is exciting from start to finish. The atmosphere seems foreboding and dark, the items are exciting and different. It looks like Gon's niece, Da-in, has one, and the little girl's fate seems grim at the hands of Se-hwang. The teaser ends with Gon facing this monster, and letting him know that he's coming for his neck.
Profiler Shin So-yeong (Jin Se-yeon) will have quite a unique series of cases on her hands, and one messed up villain to track. A partner with a personal grudge doesn't sound helpful, so strength to her. The series has also released teaser posters for the series, So-yeong's reading "This case getting bigger is just what the culprit wants".
He definitely looks the narcissistic type, and his own poster confirms it, reading "Why do you believe in God? I am God". Woah there, buddy. Gon's poster repeats his tagline from the previous teaser, stating that "Unbelievable things are happening to us". And I'm unbelievably excited for them! "The Item" will premiere in February on MBC.
