[Orion's Daily Ramblings] Yu Jun-sang, Lee Si-young and Jeon Hye-bin Courted for "Liver or Die"

Quite the cast is being wooed for upcoming drama "Liver or Die", which is courting Yu Jun-sang, Lee Si-young and Jeon Hye-bin as its leads. The drama is about a lonely, pitiful middle-aged man who has never lived for himself. It takes an honest and straightforward approach in portraying the private family problems of a man who didn't lead the normal life he wanted to.

Yu Jun-sang has been offered the titular leading role. He is to carry the story of a warm-hearted person who lives life with humor and a smile, even if his situation is difficult. Lee Poong-sang is a man who became the head of his household, raising his four younger siblings after their parents abandoned them. He is essentially a person who lives for his siblings.

Lee Si-young is up for the role of Lee Hwa-sang, the younger of two twins. Hwa-sang causes all manner of family grief, like running away from home, living with her boyfriend, and getting divorced at a young age. She's a free spirit who likes to have fun, make money and interact with people she meets online. She is essentially her own woman, and probably a Dramaland big brother's worst nightmare.

Jeon Hye-bin is being courted for Lee Jeong-sang, Hwa-sang's older twin sister. Unlike her unhinged younger sibling, Jeong-sang is smart, logical and cool-headed. She wants to marry her long-time boyfriend, whom she met at medical school, but his family objects to the marriage. She then goes through a crisis when she meets a new love interest.

"Liver or Die" is written by Moon Yeong-nam of "My Gap-soon", "The Wang Family" and more. At the helm is PD Jin Hyeong-wook, who has worked on "My Man's Secret", "Only You My Love" and others, including collaborations with the writer in "The Wang Family" and "Three Brothers". It will follow "Feel Good To Die" on KBS 2TV in January.
