This is the last weekend piece of the year, and as we dive straight into a hopefully peaceful and happy 2019, I give you some of the last minute bits and pieces that Dramaland has to offer. We have casting and promotional goodies, and I have finally started "Memories of the Alhambra", because miracles do happen!
Last Minute Casting
The news machine may be slow due to the holidays, but the casting directors of Dramaland always look solidly into the future, and so do entertainment reporters. Netflix's "Love Alarm" now has its confirmed main cast, while Nam Gyu-ri has been added to "Different Dreams". Hwang Tae-kwang will join the cast of "Beautiful World", and Jo Wan-gi will be sleazy for "Possessed". We also have an exciting drama announcement, albeit without a cast at this point, as MBC will be airing the next socially conscious work by writer Kim Ban-di of "Angry Mom", "Special Labor Inspector, Mr. Jo".
Upcoming Drama Goodies
"Liver or Die" (I know) has a new poster and a new teaser, and it is joined by "Romance is a Bonus Book" in its own book-loving poster, and the first teasers featuring hardcover book beauty. "Touch Your Heart" goes sweet and festive with its own poster and teaser, and it is joined by "The Crowned Clown" with more winter wonder. On the darker flipside, "Kingdom" has thrilling new character posters. The titular hero of "Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho 2: Crime and Punishment" still lives to annoy in these stills, and we get a look at the ladies of "Spring Turns to Spring", while "Vagabond" makes a nice big promotional splash, and "The Light in Your Eyes" has main cast teasers.
It happened! Progress! Sweet sweet progress. I slurped those 6 "Memories of the Alhambra" episodes right up, and I'm loving the series so far. What's next for yours truly from the Dramaland pool? Who knows, but may your and my 2019 be a good one. Happy New Year, folks!
