[Orion's Ramblings] Kim Sejeong Needs More Than Sheep for a Good Night's Sleep in "I Wanna Hear Your Song"

Upcoming mystery rom-com drama "I Wanna Hear Your Song" is making one cutesy entrance, wooing yours truly with fluffy sheep and a fresh and unconventional start to this oddball romance. The newly released posters as well as the previously released teaser are simple and all charm.

"I Wanna Hear Your Song" is about an insomniac timpanist who loses her memory of the day of a murder meeting a man who can't sing and getting to the bottom of this murder incident with him. The man also becomes her 'evening caller', working the weird part-time job of trying to help her sleep.

In the posters we see Kim Sejeong's Hong I-yeong in two different states. In the first one, I-yeong is surrounded by all of her counted sheep and desperate for a snooze. Her words read "One sheep... Two sheep... Someone just put me to sleep!" The second one shows us a happily napping I-yeong with a singing Jang Yoon (Yeon Woo-jin) having found a great use for his terrible voice. Her words are now "Evening call? This man... Who on Earth is he?"

Our heroine being a typical Korean drama character and sleeping in full make up aside, these posters are cozy, comfy and adorable. The sheep are a smart and wholesome concept. I know that Dramaland trying to combine a murder mystery and romantic comedy usually spells disaster, but my love for the quirky puts "I Wanna Hear Your Song" solidly in my tracking list.
