Park Hee-soon Reunites With Kim Jee-woon in "Dr. Brain"

Actor Park Hee-soon works with director Kim Jee-woon again for the first time in five years following the movie "The Age of Shadows". Apple TV+ "Dr. Brain" starring Park Hee-soon, is an SF thriller about a genius brain scientist Ko Se-won (Lee Sun-kyun), whose family becomes a victim of a mysterious accident and suffers a terrible tragedy.

Park Hee-soon plays Lee Kang-moo. He recently conducted an interview about appearing in Apple TV+'s first Korean drama, he said, "It's pressure knowing that it's being released globally and I'm happy that many people can watch it together", adding, "I'm half worried and half excited. The good thing is that people around the world can watch, sympathize and appreciate at the same time through the global chain supply."

Regarding director Kim Jee-woon, he said, "He is a director who has done many works in various genres. He is suitable for all genres such as comedy and thriller. This work is stylish and has a strong color, but it is also sexy", he said adding, "I thought it was an intelligent and sexy drama. "Dr. Brain" is a work based on brain science. He said, "In fact, I'm not familiar with the field. There may be special effects or situations, but in this drama, I think it is made real by minimizing those parts.
