The last time Park hosted a radio show was in 1990, and he hasn't acted in a film since 2011 as he was working on becoming a director. He was a huge star in the late 1980s and early 1990s, appearing in various films including the megahit "Two Cops" (1993) and Hollywood film "The Truth About Charlie" (2002).

The two-hour show starts at 6 p.m. every day, playing mostly American and British pop songs from the 80s and 90s for target listeners in their 40s and 50s.

"I don't know much about pop music, but that might make an easy approach in appreciating songs sometimes. I just want to make my listeners feel comfortable while on their way home after a long, hard day at work", Park said.
