On April 30th, the 16th Jeonju International Film Festival opening ceremony took place at Jeonju Stadium, Jeonju-shi, North Jeolla Province.

On this day, Kim Woo-bin, Moon So-ri, Ryu Deok-hwan, Lee Jung-hyun, Kim Sae-ron, Kim Hyang-gi, Kim Young-ok, Kim Soy, Baek Sung-hyun, director Lee Byeong-heon-I, Jung So-min and other actors and actresses hit the red carpet.

The opening ceremony started at 6 PM with the red carpet event and the main opening ceremony started at 7 PM. The opening ceremony was hosted by singer and actor Kim Dong-wan and actress Lim Sung-min.

The 16th Jeonju International Film Festival will continue for the next 10 days until May 9th.
