Pusan Film Fest to Hold Opening Ceremony at Haeundae

The Pusan International Film Festival will hold its opening ceremony on October 12th at Korea's largest beach Haeundae, instead of a plaza in Busan's Nampodong district.
The festival's organizing committee says it changed the venue to prevent a potential stampede of people wishing to see their favorite stars.
The committee says the beach's wider space should prevent accidents, and that Haeundae will host all of the festival's major events including the opening and closing ceremonies.
