Rain to Make Comeback Through Fan Meeting

Top Korean actor and singer Rain is returning to local and Asian music fans with a fan meeting this coming Sunday.

"Rain will hold the meeting at the Olympic Hall, Olympic Park this Sunday at 3 p.m. and meet his Asian fans. This event will be the start of his comeback here in Korea and other Asian regions", J. Tune Entertainment, the 26-year old singer's agency, announced Tuesday.

About 3,000 seats of the venue are expected to be packed with not only local fans, but also those from Japan, China, and Southeast Asia.

The fan meeting, dubbed as "Summer Vacation with Rain", will be hosted by famous Korean host Kim Jae-dong.

Rain recently finished shooting the U.S. film "Ninja Assassin" in Berlin. He also appeared in the Wachowski brothers' movie "Speed Racer" last May. Now he is back in Korea busy recording songs in a studio in Gangnam, Seoul. Rain will also be producing his new album, which is expected to be released this fall.
