RFA: N. Korea Opens Inter-Korean Mt. Geumgang Resort to N. Korean Citizens

We reported earlier this week that North Korea seems to be running a new business at a facility it confiscated from South Korea at the joint Mount Geumgang tourism resort.
Radio Free Asia is now reporting that Pyeongyang has opened tours to not just foreign tourists, but also average North Korean citizens.
Based on an interview with a North Korean citizen visiting China, RFA says Pyeongyang has been allowing business executives and regional officials to visit the mountain resort.
The report says that there don't seem to be any special restrictions in place about who can tour the site adding that a three-day trip to the mountain resort costs about 30 to 50 U.S. dollars.
In retaliation against Seoul's tour suspension following the shooting death of a South Korean tourist in 2008, Pyeongyang seized all South Korean assets at Mount Geumgang in 2010.
