Robot Taekwon V Set Record No. Movie-goers

Robot Taekwon V, an animation about a taekwondo robot fighting evil, set a new record in Korea's animation film history.
According to film production company, Shincine, on Wednesday, Robot Taekwon V attracted more than 500-thousand movie-goers in just 13 days of showing.
The latest feat broke the previous record set by animation Blue Seagull, which attracted around 500-thousand film-goers.
A total of 503-thousand 326 people went to theaters nationwide to watch the digitally restored film Robot Taekwon V.
Industry experts say Robot Taekwon V's popularity will continue for the time being as it has been attracting on average 200-thousand viewers a week at more than 180 theaters nationwide.
