Rookie Baek Sung-chul to Star in "Inspector Koo"

New actor Baek Sung-chul has been cast in "Inspector Koo".

According to Keyeast, Baek Sung-chul's management on the 20th, he has confirmed his appearance in JTBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Inspector Koo".

"Inspector Koo" is a comic detective drama in which police-turned-insurance investigator named Goo Kyeong-i (Lee Young-ae), to whom game and alcohol are everything in the world, digs into a mysterious serial murder case disguised as an accident. Lee Young-ae, Kim Hae-sook, Kwak Sun-young and Kim Hye-jun will appear.

In the drama, Baek Sung-chul plays the role of Santa, who is selected as an assistant in the game party by Goo Kyeong-i. He will be a competent assistant who silently watches and becomes the hands and feet for Goo Kyeong-i.

"First of all, I'm honored to be able to join Lee Young-ae and Kim Hae-sook in such a good work", said Baek Sung-chul. "I'm not good enough to show it to the viewers, but I'm working hard with them. Please look forward to "Inspector Koo" and watch my collaboration with Lee Young-ae".
