Ryu Soo-young, together with Cho Seung-woo and Kwak Tae-won, have been commissioned as Honorary Officers of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency at a ceremony that took place in Seoul on October 26, 2010.

The honorary rank was awarded to commend them for their exemplary contribution to the police force while serving their military duties. Their active participation in over 150 public service performances for the children, youth, disabled and the elderly in the last two years enhanced the image of the police.
