South Korean filmmaker Kim Jee-woon's Hollywood debut film "The Last Stand" ranked tenth in the North American box office standing after its first weekend opening.
The Associated Press reported on Monday that the film was released on Friday and raked in six-point-three million U.S. dollars during its first weekend, ranking tenth in the box office standings.
The action film attracted the public's attention as Arnold Schwarzenegger, former governor of California, returns in his first leading role in ten years.
The film is about a former L.A. cop that has moved to a small town near the Mexican border and a notorious drug lord. The Last Stand will be released in South Korea on Monday.
