Samsung and LG's first 5G smartphones will hit the U.S. market next month, giving them a head start over Apple.
Samsung's Galaxy S10 will reportedly debut with Verizon on May 16, while LG has partnered with Sprint to launch the V50 ThinQ.
Apple has yet to announce its plans for 5G phones, but they are expected to appear in the next year or two.
Meanwhile, Samsung has already started sales of its first 5G phone in Korea and LG is expected to release theirs next week.
