Schwarzenegger Likely to Star in Korean Director's Hollywood Debut

Arnold Schwarzenegger, the Austrian-American bodybuilder-turned-actor who served as the governor of California until earlier this year, looks set to star in "The Last Stand", the Hollywood debut of Korean director Kim Jee-woon, Reuters reported.

The former Mr. Universe, who is known for his trademark one-liners in movies such as "The Terminator", has been in the press for all the wrong reasons lately following his messy divorce from Maria Shriver after it was revealed that his extra-marital affairs led to a son being born out of wedlock.

His decision to reprise his action-man status on the silver screen in Kim's western has not yet been confirmed by the star's spokesman or the movie's producer, but Entertainment Weekly reported that filming will begin in September with Schwarzenegger in the line-up.

When his extramarital flings were divulged in May, Schwarzenegger decided to put a freeze on his film-related activities, including his work on the movie "Cry Macho" and his voice-over for an animation running under the working title of "The Governator".
