"Section TV" Jung Woo-sung, Yoo Jae-suk and Won Bin were born poor

The MBC TV show "Section TV" released a list of celebrities who were born poor but became rich.

Won Bin was born to a farming family and he said he decided to become a celebrity to save his house. He went to Seoul on his own and did part time jobs until he landed a short role.

Currently, Won Bin is a very successful actor and real estate owner. He built a penthouse for his parents in Jeongseon and he also won the 2008 Architectural and Culture Award.

Bae Yong-joon was also born poor. He dreamt of being a movie director and was one until he debuted and became one of the greatest Hallyu stars.

Hip-hop sensation Dokki also has an unwealthy past. He lived on the roof of his management way back then. Now he presents newly recruiting artists of his company with luxury watches.

Lee Hyori was also born poor to a barber but her success has created a whole new life for her family. Jung Woo-sung even quit school so that he could make money for his family.

Yoo Jae-suk survived a long time of no fame and was about to call it quits but currently, he earns 1.5 million per episode of a TV show and 600 million won for a commercial.
