Seoul to Use Film 'I Got You Babe' in PR Campaign

The Gwak Jae-yong film "I Got You Babe" (Korean: Nae Yeoja-chingu-reul Sogae-hamnida) is being used as public relations material for Seoul City.
For the first time in Korean film history, a trailer of the film, which stars Jeon Ji-hyun and Jang Hyuk, has been made featuring Seoul's nighttime scenery.

For national security reasons, most of Seoul's airspace is off-limits to traffic, including helicopters. For "I Got You Babe", however, Seoul's metropolitan government permitted the city to be filmed from the sky, taking into account not only that the film will be simultaneously released in China and other Asian markets, but that the film is a love story featuring Seoul as its background.

Seoul authorities have decided to aggressively use the film in letting the world know of its "Hi Seoul!" marketing campaign.

The nighttime aerial filmmaking was conducted throughout January and February; the aircraft departed Gimpo Airport and passed over World Cup Stadium, Seongsan Bridge, Yeo-uido, Banpo Bridge, Seongsu Bridge, Jamshil Bridge and the Olympic complex. In order to really make the film special, spot lights were used for places like the Han River bridges, World Cup Stadium and Jamshil Stadium.
