Seungri Declares His Retirement From Big Bang

2019/03/11 | 589 views | Permalink | Source

Big Bang's Seungri, who has been embroiled in controversy over his club Burning Sun and allegations of prostitution, has announced his retirement.

He made an announcement on his Instagram on the 11th. He added that he will continue to faithfully undergo investigations for the suspicions surrounding him.

The following is his statement.

"This is Seungri.

It seems only right that I retire at this point. I have caused too much of a social problem and I decided to retire. Regarding the investigations, I will sincerely undergo them and reveal the truth to all suspicions.

I've been criticized and hated by the public for the past month and a half, and now I'm almost a national traitor. I can't harm those around me to save myself.

I've been grateful to many fans here and abroad for the past 10 years. I think this is where I leave for the honor of Big Bang and YG Entertainment.

I apologize again and thank you".
