Hwang Jung-eum plays Kim Hye-jin who is an intern at a magazine company and she once had everything from looks, brains, skills, wealth and personality. Then her father went bankrupt and she even lost her looks during puberty.
Hwang Jung-eum had to wind down to look 'un-pretty' for this drama and she said, "I might seem cute or I might seem so ugly that the viewers might change the channel. I thought a lot about this drama and I became depressed at one point too. However, watching the edited version of it made me feel better because the producer added things to make me look pretty".
This is the second time she's working with Park Seo-joon and she said, "He's very different from "Kill Me, Heal Me" and this time. I don't remember how he was in the previous drama because he's so different. It was comfortable working with him and I had fun".
She also lost 4kg for the drama and said, "I usually don't do diets, but I had to, so I ate vegetables only and brought back the beauty in me".
