Show yourself! 2009 Broadcasting Entertainment Career Convention was held

Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), '2009 Broadcasting Entertainment Career Convention' was held on the 3rd floor of COEX on 26th(Fri) 10 a.m.
In its 4th edition, the opening ceremony took place with participation of heads of broadcasting stations and contents related organizations, including vice minister Kim Dae-ki of culture, sports and tourism and Go Hueng-gil, chairman of the Korea Communications Commission.

"Creative and content industries are of great significance as prospective industries of the future. We should produce contents which can create added values as in the case of 'The Harry Potter Series'", said Lee Jae-woong, President & CEO of the organizer, KOCCA, in his opening ceremony while encouraging participants.
In the following congratulatory remarks, the vice minister emphasized the importance of this exhibition, saying, "Contents for broadcasting stimulate a green growth and contribute to the Korean Wave. We will strive to develop content and boost related industries to recreate boom for the Korean Wave".
- On 26th, the first day of the exhibition, Lee Ji-ae, announcer of KBS, and Wang Jong-Myung, reporter of MBC, provided aspirants with personal experiences and strategies to be employed. In addition, special lectures were delivered by one personnel manager of PR agency and in the area of animation, movies, musicals and other contents
On-the-spot interviews were conducted in interview cafes. Wide ranging programs were provided in the form of aptitude test and career counseling to support participants to join the workforce. The exhibition got boost as jobseekers in the area of broadcasting and entertainment showed off their talents in the zone of SHOW YOURSELF.

On 27th, the last day of the exhibition, programs on production of contents for broadcasting and entertainment related education programs will be provided. They include special lectures by Park Ji-eun, the screenwriter of 'Queen of Housewives' of MBC and Seo Bum-seok, actor of musical, 'Notre Dame De Paris' as well as vocal trainings by The Last Empress team. In addition, regular recruitment counseling and auditions will be carried out continuously.
