"Signal 2" Confirmed With Writer Kim Eun-hee-I and Actor Oh Jung-se

The drama "Signal" returns for season 2.


On the 13th, writer Kim Eun-hee-I, actor Oh Jung-se, and CEO Jang Won-seok of BA Entertainment, who produced the film "The Outlaws" series, visited La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy, and attended the event, "The Power of K-Contents, What's the Secret of Korean Film and Drama Fever? Meeting with Writers, Actors, and Producers".

They talked about Korea's works, contents, and K-pop, and especially drew attention by delivering the news that CEO Jang and writer Kim are preparing for "Signal 2".

They worked together in the drama "Revenant" in 2023.

Writer Kim Eun-hee-I has previously shown her commitment to the sequel to tvN's "Signal". In an interview with Expo News in 2021, ""Signal" was a drama that gave me such a big gift as a writer", she said. "So I want to make it in any way. Before I retire, I want to show you the sequel to "Signal" in any way".

The drama "Signal", which aired in 2016, tells the story of detectives from the past and present, who are linked to desperate signals from the past, digging into old unsolved cases. It was a popular drama with Kim Hye-soo, Cho Jin-woong, and Lee Je-hoon.
