Actress Yoon Son-ha, who has made appearances in Japanese TV shows, will return to Korea after a 2-year hiatus and play the leading role in "Someone to Love", which is based on a popular comic book series written by Kang Full.

Yoon Son-ha put her career on hold after giving birth earlier this year but has recently appeared on Japanese shows. She will make her comeback in Korea by appearing in this new MBC TV series.

Yoon Son-ha will play the role of Lim Mi-rang who is the owner of a milk distribution store. Lim Mi-rang is a 33-year old single mom who lost her parents to a car accident when she was 18 years old and was raised by her grandparents after that tragedy. An anonymous donor gives her a large sum of money which she uses to open a milk distribution store and she repays the kindness of her grandparents by paying the expenses for their vacation trip.

Although she has a kind heart, she had irreconcilable differences with her husband and got a divorce. She raises her daughter as a single mom and tries to be a good provider and a loving mother at the same time.

Yoon Son-ha came to the script reading session held on December 7th with a bright smile and immersed herself in her new role.

Meanwhile, director Lee Jae-dong and writer Lee Sook-jin also oversaw the script reading session at the MBC Dream Center in Ilsan. Actors Choi Bool-am (role as Kim Man-seok), Na Moon-hee (role as Song Lee-bun), Kang Bu-ja (role as Hwang Seung-hee), Song Jae-ho (role as Jang Gun-bong), Nam Gyu-ri (role as Kim Yeon-ah), and Uhm Ki-joon (role as Lee Tae-baek) were also at the session which proceeded in a light-hearted atmosphere. The veteran actors displayed professionalism during the script reading session by giving dramatic performances. It was a passionate rehearsal that was full of emotions.

Director Lee Jae-dong said, "I want to tell a love story about an old couple in an upbeat way and shed light on relationships between older people.

Shooting for "Someone to Love", a romance between two elderly people, will begin in mid-December.

The show will premiere in March 2009 as the follow-up TV series to "East of Eden".
