Actor Son So-mang is attempting at a transformation.

Son So-mang has confirmed her appearance as Sa Gook-hwa in MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama "Kokdu: Season of Deity". "Kokdu: Season of Deity" is a fantasy romance about a death god, Kkokdu (Kim Jung-hyun), who comes down to the earth every 99 years to punish humans, meeting a doctor with mysterious abilities, Han Gye-jeol (Im Soo-hyang), and working as a visiting doctor.

Son So-mang plays Sa Gook-hwa, a nurse at Yeongpo Pilseong Hospital and the best friend of Tae Jeong-won (Kim Dasom). She has a simple and honest personality, has a good sociality, and is a loyal person who stands by her whenever Jeong-won is in an awkward situation.

Son So-mang has made a strong impression through JTBC dramas "Chief of Staff", tvN dramas "Oh My Baby", "Mr. Queen" and the movie "A Way Station". In particular, this year, she confirmed her third appearance in the drama following the Disney+ original series "Rookie Cops" and the tvN drama "Eve", signaling an impressive change in acting.

"Kokdu: Season of Deity" will premiere on January 27th, 2023.
