Song Hye-kyo and Park Bo-gum are starring in the drama "Encounter".

"Encounter" is being planned for later this year and it's going to be pre-produced. It is a beautiful but sad love story about Cha Soo-hyeon, the daughter of a politician and ex-chaebol daughter-in-law who has never once lived life on her own, and a freewheeling young man named Kim Jin-hyeok (Park Bo-gum).

The story is about how love makes Soo-hyeon's heart begin to beat again and invigorates her dull life. On the other hand, Kim Jin-hyeok is very ordinary with nothing special, but he values the small things.

The co-casting of Song Hye-kyo and Park Bo-gum has netizens causing a commition. "Encounter" is Song Hye-kyo's first drama since "Descendants of the Sun", which was a huge success. Park Bo-gum is also famous for past dramas "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" and "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds".

Meanwhile, "Encounter" is written by Yoo Yeong-ah and directed by Park Shin-woo.
