Kim Rae-won begged Kim Hae-sook to allow his marriage.

The SBS drama "A Thousand Days' Promise" on November 15th showed Kang Soo-jeong (Kim Hae-sook), who found out about Seo-yeon's (Soo Ae) Alzheimer disease, not being able to sleepm then going over to Ji-hyeon's (Kim Rae-won) place.

She started off by saying, "I couldn't go to sleep. I hear she has Alzheimer's? How could you be so cruel to us? How could you do something so foolish?"

He was astonished by what she said. He said, "I wanted you of all people to accept us".

Despite his mother's pleas, he expressed himself, "I will still do it. I know what you are thinking. I know it's hard for you to accept but I am not trying to sacrifice myself for her. I need her".

In the end, he got on his knees as he cried and begged her to let them get married. However, although her heart ached, Kang Soo-jeong tried to convince him out of it.

Meanwhile, Lee Seo-yeon showed signs of the disease getting worse as she couldn't even remember what she did 30 minutes ago.
