"Arang and the Magistrate" Kang Moon-young revealed surprising powers.

Hong-ryeon (Kang Moon-young) killed the Angel of death on the eighth episode of the MBC drama "Arang and the Magistrate".

Hong-ryeon stuck two blood stained charms on two swords and decided to test them out. Evil demons created by her moved with the sword and snatched the souls of the dead from the Angel of death.

When only one demon came back she complained and shut the souls in a pot. Not only did Hong-ryeon have the power the collect souls but she could also create demons and get rid of the Angel of death.

King of the Underworld (Park Jun-gyu) angered at her powers for having touched his Angel of death and the Great Jade Emperor calmly said, "She must've recovered. She's in a hurry to do something like that".

Moo-yeong asked the Jade Emperor, "Do you know who she is? Recovered means that she's had that power from the beginning?" to which he answered, "It's not important who she is. How we catch her is what matters.
