Baek Do-hyeon appeared in a morning show on TV and revealed his home town was Gyeongje City and he would run for the upcoming election in the city.

Baek Do-hyeon told Choi In-gyeong, "I don't want to lose you. You're my closest comrade no matter what". And then he suggested that she should be transferred to premier's office.
Choi In-gyeong rejected his offer and confirmed she would work as an aide for Jin Sang-pil until the next election, not as a close associate to Baek Do-hyeon. She also said, "I want to make him into a figure with proper status, as an assemblyman for Gyeongje City, who is trusted by his people". Her statement predicted a real confrontation with Baek Do-hyeon .
