On the final episode of the KBS 2 drama "Bridal Mask, Oh Mok-dan (Jin Se-yeon) took a bullet for Bridal Mask Lee Kang-to (Joo Won) and died and Kimura Shunji (Park Ki-woong) who did everything in his power to catch Bridal Mask, decided to kill himself.

With Bridal Mask in the lead, thousands of the people of Chosun wore masks and punished the Japanese which yelling "Independence Korea".

There were two twists on this day. One was Oh Mok-dan taking the bullet and another was Shunji killing himself.

This kind of ending might've been for the better impact of the independence movement in the end. Mok-dan's sacrifice made the movement even more meaningful and Shunji's death got the people of Chosun a step closer to the independence movement.

After Mok-dan and Shuji died, Lee Kang-to, Dong-jin (Park Sung-woong) and everyone else held up the Korean flags with their masks on and yelled "Independence Korea". They then threw bombs at an ongoing Japanese ceremony.

This scene was only aired for about 2 minutes but the patriotism boiled in Korean national's hearts. It helped to retrace the Korean history that is almost being forgotten in this world.
