While So-i (Shin Se-kyung) spread Hangeul through a song on the December 14th episode of SBS drama "Deep-rooted Tree", other court maids have started putting their efforts into spreading Hangeul through shamanism, which is familiar to the people.

Mokya (Sin So-yool) disguised herself as a female shaman and pretended to do a ritual, soon mumbling the words "Ga, gya, geo, gyeo..." to the people who gathered around her, saying it was the spell to heaven.

She then took out a talisman written in Hangeul and said it only worked if it was repeated every morning and night.

This kind of behavior by Mokya is the wit of Lee Do, who is trying to make the people spread Hangeul among themselves by using shamanism, which is already familiar to them.

Meanwhile, So-i was made to sing by the singing beggars and children and this also synergized with a wider spreading of Hangeul.
