What happened 4 months ago?
Cha Seon-ho (Uhm Ki-joon), who changed into his brother Cha Min-ho, died. Park Jeong-woo suspected this and asked for an autopsy. Cha Min-ho didn't like the sound of that but he couldn't stop him. In the end, the warrant came out and background checks were made.
However, according to print checks, the identity of the deceased was the younger brother, Cha Min-ho who was thought to be alive as his brother. The funeral was about to be set up but something got in the way. There was a spectacle mark on the brother's face during autopsy so Cha Min-ho ended up getting someone to get rid of the autopsy doctor.
Four months later, Park Jeong-woo had become a killer. He was the prosecutor that killed his wife and kid. The case was handled within the department as much as possible. It is unsure how the case was settled by Park Jeong-woo's friend and prosecutor Kang Joon-hyeok (Oh Chang-suk) took over the case.
Domestic lawyer Seo Eun-hye (Kwon Yuri) also volunteered to take his case.
At the end of the episode, there was a shocking twist. Park Jeong-woo was caught on CCTV, putting a big bag in the trunk of his car and increased the chances that he might truly be a family killer.
