Jin-woo decided to work on a virus antidote with Moon Soo-an (Park Hyo-joo), and Jeong Seung-bin (Yoon Bora) told her brother Hyun Sang-pil (Kim Jae-won).

Hyeon Sang-pil infected Ms. Seo (Kim Ho-jung) with the virus and Jin-woo was trying to stop a stranger from killing Hyeok-min, but got stabbed himself.
