Lee Jeong-hwan was on his way to the prince (Lim Seulong) to deliver Min Do-seng's (Choi Phillip) statement and was attacked by Do-moon's men. Jang Hong-dal (Lee Hee-do) who was released on the prince's orders, had ordered them to bring him the statement.

A sword fight happened between Lee Jeong-hwan and Do-moon. Just as Lee Jeong-hwan was about to beat after a long time of battle, Moo-yeong (Kim Dong-jun) threw a spear at them.

They both held up their swords to fight it off. However, Do-moon stabbed Lee Jeong-hwan and cast a serious injury. Do-moon slashed him several times as he was fighting until the end to protect the statement.

Meanwhile, Lee Jeong-hwan who was seriously injured found Woo-yeong (Kang Byul) and told her to send her brother Choi Won (Lee Dong-wook) a message.
